Girls/boys equality week at L.F.J

Updated: Mar 9

The education code recalls that the transmission of the value of equality between girls and boys, women and men, begins in primary school. This public policy is a necessary condition so that, gradually, stereotypes fade and other models of behavior are built without sexist discrimination or violence.

Its purpose is to create a culture of equality and mutual respect. As a French high school, it is important that we include this issue in our educational actions.

This is how the 3rd and 2nd grade delegates, helped by other comrades, decided to take up this issue and carry out actions to raise awareness among primary, middle and high school students.

These actions took the form of Kahoot for older children, screening of short videos followed by debates and a small exhibition in the playground.

Thanks to Mélina, Rami, Jana, William, Katia and Nadine for their investment throughout the realization of this project.
